Note: This section includes only reports analyzing actual data collected by law enforcement agencies. If you are looking for a report that outlines the process of data collection analysis, analyzes racial profiling concerns and challenges in a given jurisdiction, or involves a more general discussion of data collection issues, the report will be posted elsewhere on the site.

"This report presents and summarizes data collected from police-initiated traffic stops occurring in the State of Connecticut from July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2001. "The Institute on Race and Poverty was asked by the Saint Paul Police Department on January 11, 2001 to analyze the traffic stop data collected by the department from April 15, 2000 to December 15, 2000. The institute was provided with the task of determining if the Department engages in racial profiling, and if so, what the dimensions of the problem are; and to formulate suggestions for improvements to the Department's data collection program that will allow for more comprehensize analysis of future data."
